Flickr is a free service for those who wish to store up to 200 photos a month and have up to 3 photo sets with a yahoo account.
Sets
Pictures can be grouped into sets, and tagged for searching.
Slide shows accompany photo sets automatically.
If you have a Yahoo 360 account your photostream from flickr can be shown directly on your personal profile page in addition to the photo album available in Yahoo photos. If you have more than one 360 account the same photostream is used for all 360 pages. There is one flickr account per user.
Photo viewing can be set to public or private viewing and various license rights can be assinged to photos. Pro accounts are also available, most users will find that 200 pictures a month are plenty enough.
Photoblogging opportunities can be accessed directly from flickr.com
The majotity of my photos are currently set for public noncomercial use when properely referenced and linking directly to the photopages.
