Prince is a very talented and contaversorial musician. As a music writer, who can play most of the instruments he writes music for, the talent goes further than his choice of lyrics or sometimes extreme behavior on stage. Whether you approve of him on a prsonal level or not there is an undeniable musical talent in this artist that we refer to as Prince. Problems of legal nature and from record labels and other sources remain an ongoing battle for Prince. He has no shortage of fans or energy. He is currently playing in Las Vegas.

Various artist local bands and upcoming musicians playing & singing music by Prince are showcased here. Videos of the actual artist known as Prince - may be removed from the playlist by request from right owners and I have no control over removal of videos. Private musicians are also being removed for thier home videos of thier renditions of Prince songs. There is a video here in the player with Prince and Lenny Kravitz singing "I want to Get Away" which is not a "Prince Song" and it may last longer than the other vidoes.

Removed videos are being listed because they do exisit!!! That means there may in time be authorized sites that will make the videos available or possible on a music video collection in the days to come. If nothing else it is sort of a history of performances. Even the avid concert goers don't make it to all concerts. And our busy lives do not afford us the ability to see all TV and Award shows. The videos we hunt for are very often the musicians we already like or want on our to buy list. And if you are anything like me, well, my ability to remember names of musicians had a lot to do with who I saw in a video. Unfortunately, many larger music industry types don't seem to get the impact that availablity of free videos has on the mindsets of the consumers. What I can tell you is that there is a high chance that all Prince Videos by the original Artist may be eventually removed from the player above and you will only have videos of regular folk playing Prince music left in the player. On the down side many of us who have already bought music on albulm, then cassete, may be a little choosy when they are buying the music once agin on CD.
